TVR Cerbera Speed 6 - Bearing spigot (TVR E2848)

Spigot bearing to fit all Speed 6 and AJP V8 engines, located in rear of crankshaft. Provides location for the nose of the gearbox input shaft . These bearings should ideally be replaced during engine rebuilds as any debris getting into the bearing during machining or cleaning operations can cause this bearing to become noisy and stick. This can cause problems with gear changes as it can mean the gearbox input shaft is spinning even with the clutch depressed. This bearing is a needle roller type and not a phosphor bronze one.
